Carols by Candlelight December 6, 2025

Hello to our Churchill and district community.

Carols by Candlelight will be held again this year, back at the Co-Operating Churches, 1 Williams Ave. from 5.30 pm with the Lions BBQ.

We are trying something different this year. After the Lions have given us one of their delicious sausages in bread with onions and sauce, for a gold coin donation, the program will start at 6 pm with a designated children’s time. This will include singing, a Your Tube Christmas Story video and Santa’s arrival on the fire truck. Then if parents wish, they can leave or stay to hear more about the reason for the season. There will be lots of singing of carols, a play and readings of the Christmas story and prayers.

All are welcome. We will take up a collection for the FedUni Chaplaincy. Carols booklets and candles will be available. It will be inside the church. Come along and celebrate and help welcome the Christmas season.

Christmas Eve 6pm Mass at Our Lady of Good Council, 76 Main Street, Yinnar.
