Traralgon Golf Club recently hosted the annual Tee Up for Mental Health fundraiser, with more than 180 local golfers taking part to support Lifeline Gippsland and the Rotary Club of Traralgon.

The event, in partnership with ACSO, continues to grow each year, with this year raising $30,000, surpassing last year’s total of $25,000. Funds will support youth initiatives locally through Rotary, as well as Lifeline Gippsland’s crisis support services, including the 13 11 14 national crisis line and regional suicide prevention programs.

“Events like this help raise awareness about mental health and the simple steps we can all take to reduce stigma around seeking help,” said Lifeline Gippsland CEO, Cindy Pullar.

Alongside the usual 18-hole experience, golfers enjoyed creative challenges, including a putting challenge on water and a $10,000 hole-in-one on Hole 6. The day was made possible thanks to the dedication of the event committee, particularly the incredible team at ACSO, volunteers, and local community groups.

The final tally was $30K which was shared equally with Lifeline and Traralgon Rotary to support mental health programs in the community.
