Strzelecki Bushwalking Club
The list of activities that the Strzelecki Bushwalking Club has been making available to members has been outstanding already for 2025. Adrian our activities co-ordinator, puts together an amazing program each and every month with the help of our dedicated leaders.

Strzelecki Bushwalking Club members enjoying the summer sun near Licola
We continue to hold regular kayaking events and have a multiday paddle coming up in March and this will start in Nelson which is at the western end of Victoria.
We have held a dog friendly walk, at the Blue Rock Lake in Willow Grove which is now becoming an annual event. We have many members who love to take their dog friends on a walk!
Our Club President, John led a day walk into Croll’s Gorge. This is a spectacular day walk that you can get to from Tamboritha Road approximately 17 km past Licola. It is a great walk on a summers day because there is a lot of river walking. The scenery is world class and right on our doorstep.

“Ready for adventure in the Walls of Jerusalem NP Tasmania”
Another interstate opportunity happening in March is a multi-day walk to the Walls of Jerusalem National Park in Tasmania. This is a wild and inspiring Alpine Park approximately 144km northwest of Hobart. There is no direct road access into this park, and it must explored totally on foot.
A bit closer to home we have several walks exploring remote areas of the Baw Baw National Park. One of our leaders will also be taking a group from Wright Forest through to Emerald Lake in the Dandenongs. This walk is guaranteed to end with a spectacular afternoon tea!
There is something for everyone and every ability on our activities program each month. We continue to have regular enquiries from people wishing to engage with this Club.
