Churchill Scouts April 2024

A journey around the world train adventure for Churchill Cub Scouts

Churchill Cub Scouts recently enjoyed a camp at Mount Martha on the Mornington Peninsula. Staying in converted heritage train carriages at Bay Park Scout Camp, the camp had a “Journey Around the World” theme, with the Cub Scouts visiting Brazil to ride a zipline, England to enjoy hedge mazes at Ashcombe Maze, Vietnam for canoeing, Switzerland for a campfire, South Africa for archery and the Galapagos Islands for a nature walk and bouldering.

They also traveled to Italy to make pizzas, enjoyed waffles in Belgium, devoured a full Welsh breakfast in Wales and had tacos in Mexico!

Two Joey Scouts who have moved up to Cub Scouts were invested as Cub Scouts by the light of our campfire.
