Churchill Neighbourhood Centre launches temporary shop to support new Mobile Resilience Hub

The Churchill Neighbourhood Centre has exciting news for the community! We have opened a temporary shop, with all proceeds going directly towards the construction of our much-needed Mobile Resilience Hub. This innovative Mobile Hub will serve Churchill and District in times of disaster, offering essential services such as a mobile kitchen for hot meals, fridges to store perishable goods, generators and batteries to power critical devices, and a mobile office equipped with laptops and Wi-Fi to help residents access emergency information and contact loved ones.

In recent years, our community has faced significant challenges from natural disasters, and the Mobile Resilience Hub is being developed to ensure we are better prepared to support residents during emergencies. Whether it is charging phones, accessing insurance details, or cooking a meal, the Mobile Hub will be a lifeline for locals when it is needed most.
