Really great art

A prominent presence in the Latrobe Valley, Gippsland and our collection is the Land. In this place we exist with twin landscapes of agriculture and industry, each forming an overlay through which we view Land and our relationship to it.

Our new program of exhibitions explores multiple and interconnected relationships to Land.

Hazelwood features an eight metre long painting by Jenardiy Arkadi Zabenko that was gifted to the LRG Collection by Engie in 2020. Shown in a gallery context for the first time, this unique work is a starting point to consider a range of perspectives on land, industry and our community.
